She tells him about the illness of Hazrat-i Aqa and Sipahsalar's and Farmanfarma's visit. She also mentions that Hazrat-i Aqa has been given the position of Minister of Finance; although the decree was written by the Shah, it is not official yet. On the other hand, Qavam al-Dawlah, the current Minister, is the brother of the premier and the premier has threatened to resign; the situation remains unresolved.

‘Abbas Mirza Salar Lashkar writes to his wife, Zahra Sultan ‘Izzat al-Saltanah, telling her that he is finding a house for them and that they should depart upon receiving his telegram.
